So the other day I was on the Forever 21 website and I came across these sunglasses and I was amazed how similar they were to the Chloe Carlina sunglasses, which are retailing for £211 while the Forever 21 pair are £6!
As you can tell from my last two posts I am slowly getting into beauty/makeup a bit more. I am not exactly an expert yet in the makeup field but I am sure with practice I will get better (I hope). I wanted to purchase a new foundation as my skin has changed and unfortunately my Illamasqua foundation was not really suiting my face anymore in comparison to when I first purchased it.
I heard very good reviews about Nars foundation so I thought I would give their foundation a go. I purchased the sheer glow foundation in shade Punjab.
I was pleased that I was able to find a shade which matched my skin. The foundation does not leave me looking washed out or looking like a oopma loompa. When I wear this foundation I do get compliments saying how my skin is glowing, which is a good sign especially when it comes to foundation. I do apply my foundation with the my real technique brushes (check out my review) and found that it is easily applied.
When I applied the foundation I did find that it goes provide me with coverage and my skin becomes an even skin tone. I do recommend this foundation especially for the ladies who do have dry skin. The foundation does also contain anti-oxidants which protects against damaging free radicals and tumeric extract to imrpove skins radiance and tone.

For the last few months my hair is easily tangled and is making it a bit of a nightmare when I brush it. I heard about the wet brush last year but I did not take much notice as I was not experiencing tangled hair. So since I am now I went onto amazon and got myself brush for approximately £7 (from what I can remember).
When first looking at the wet brush you do just think its just a normal brush with a brand name on it. Which is true to a certain degree but when I used it I was impressed. The brush was not pulling on my hair as much as my other brush and I found that it was a lot more 'friendlier'. My tangles do come out a lot more easier and I do not feel that my hair is not getting damaged in the process of brushing my hair.
I do recommend this brush and it is worth every penny. The wet brush does come in many colours so you do not have to opt for the pink. It also comes in a mini version so you can just pop in your bag and go.
Hope you enjoyed reading my post :) If you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment or drop me and email.
So I am really late on getting on the real technique bandwagon but I have finally purchased them so I thought I'd share my thoughts about the core collection. Before I share more thoughts I do have to tell you that I do not wear makeup often, the only time that I really do wear makeup is for a birthday celebration or a wedding. My goal for the summer is to start practicing more and making more of an effort to actually learn how to apply my own makeup. Slowly but surely I will get there (eventually!)
So onto what I think of the core collection!
I purchased the brushes from Amazon for £10. I know your thinking £10!? I thought the same thing and took advantage of this bargain. Amazon are not currently selling the brushes at that price as they do sometimes alter the prices from day to day. The current price is around £14 which is a lot better from the prices that Boots and Superdrug are selling them at, so you have a win win situation.
When I applied my foundation I felt that it went on smoothly and I was able to blend in my foundation very well. I really liked that the collection had different style of brushes which are versatile as I was able to use them as a foundation brush but also as a blush brush as well.
I like how the brushes came with their own case so I do really have to worry about fitting them in my makeup bag. The brushes do wash well and I did not need to worry about the brush falling apart.
I have also purchased the real technique starter kit so stay tuned for that review as well :)
